PaineWebber Inc. has reopened the book on its planned 30- position derivatives trading-room system in New York. Having settled on Teknekron Software Systems Inc. data distribution and workstation software running on IBM RS/6000 workstations following a year-long evaluation, PaineWebber may now begin tests with other hardware and software vendors.
