ISE Readies OLA Link, OM Click Upgrade

NEW YORK--The International Securities Exchange (ISE) is modifying its transaction systems in anticipation of the first phase of the implementation of the Options Linkage Authority (OLA) on Feb. 1 of next year.

OLA is a joint authority composed of the five options exchanges--The American Stock Exchange (Amex), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), ISE, Pacific Exchange (PCX) and Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX).

The group is to structure an electronic linkage among the exchanges, providing
