Citigroup Takes IPC Alliance MX For Canary Wharf HQ

LONDON--IPC Information Systems will supply its next generation switching platform and dealerboard suite, the Alliance MX, for more than 1,150 positions at the new Citigroup building in Canary Wharf.

IPC's Tradenet MX technology is already in use at Salomon Smith Barney in various locations globally, but IPC will be replacing around 500 BT positions currently in use at Citibank's Strand offices.

Citigroup will move out of at least four separate London sites into the first of two new buildings-
