DLJ's Autranet Installs Lan For Trading, Research Services

Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Inc.'s Autranet Inc. subsidiary is installing a local data distribution system that may support up to 100 or more PC positions in its research-monitoring and trading groups. The move is aimed at handling an expected increase in business following Autranet's decision to reconfigure its traditional soft- dollar business.

Officials at Autranet and DLJ decline comment on the project. But sources close to Autranet say the company already has installed an 80-position PC
