Reuters NewMedia Inc. recently acquired a 2.5 percent equity stake in Yahoo Corp., which provides a directory of sites on the Internet. Reuters also extended its contract to provide Yahoo's site with the Reuters Online News Service through 1999.
The Chicago Board of Options Exchange will install IBM Corp.'s RISC System/6000 servers to replace the exchange's Amdahl Corp. 5995 mainframes. The servers will deliver distributed, real-time price and market information to the CBOE's 45,000 square foot
