Nasdaq Deutschland May Pass on SuperMontage Europe

FRANKFURT--Following the closure of Nasdaq Deutschland last month, the SuperMontage Europe engine is unlikely to be used by the Berlin and Bremen exchanges, which bought the assets of Nasdaq Deutschland, sources say.

Thomas Ruppelt, member of the Berlin exchange’s management board, says that the Berlin and Bremen exchanges only own the rights to part of the SuperMontage Europe software, but not to the enhancements developed specifically by Nasdaq staff (TTW, Aug. 18).
