BZW New York Plans Swaps Decision Support Based On Berkeley Investment Tech's Bitts

Barclays de Zoete Wedd Securities Inc. (BZW) in New York has begun the development phase of a decision-support system for swaps that will eventually be implemented throughout the firm's entire capital markets group. The planned system will be based on a trade-processing and decision-support system developed by Berkeley Investment Technologies Inc. (BIT).

The planned New York swaps system is covered by a global software licensing agreement BZW signed with BIT a year ago.
