Mint To Offer Adapter To Iona's Orbix After Developing It For Trading Client

NEW YORK--Mint Communication Systems has recently completed for a customer a Mint adapter to the Orbix object request broker (ORB) environment from Iona Technologies, says Hagay Shefi, president of Mint.
Shefi declines to name the client but will say they are also an Iona user. The adapter is a Corba-based front-end to the Mint messaging middleware.
The mutual client of Iona and Mint urged Mint to build a link between a legacy environment and Orbix-based trading applications, Shefi says. The
