Global Crossing Extends European Network Relay System

HAMILTON, BERMUDA--Global Crossing is expanding its Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and Frame Relay network into six more European countries.

Global Crossing says it will extend its network to five more European countries in Italy and Switzerland by the end of the year and in Sweden and Norway by early next year.

The extension will bring the network’s European coverage to 45 cities within 11 countries, which presently include Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, The Netherlands and the UK
