HSBC Temporarily Moves NYC Floor

FRONT PAGE NEWS: TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES

NEW YORK-HSBC has moved its traders in Manhattan to a temporary trading floor in a building several blocks away while the original floor is reconstructed as part of the firm's effort to build a multi-product platform, bank officials tell DWT.

The traders, which include equity trading groups and IT management, have been using the temporary trading floor at 417 Fifth Ave. for about one month and are expected to return to their original location at 452 Fifth Ave. during the autumn.
