C21 TO GO LIVE IN NOVEMBER

Clearnet, the clearing house and central counterparty for Euronext markets, has announced that Clearing 21 (C21) will go live on Nov. 16 as the new clearing platform for cash markets in Brussels. Derivatives markets in Brussels will be added to C21 by mid-2002. The November date has been set in order to give Clearnet, its clearing members in Brussels and their software providers time to prepare for the new platform and to ensure their systems are compatible.
