Danske, UBM Get Thin-Client Access to Summit

TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES

LONDON--Danish bank Danske Bank and Italian banking group UniCredit Banca Mobiliare (UBM) have begun implementing a new thin-client front-end from Summit Systems, built using Microsoft .Net. The new front-end, dubbed Summit FT, will run with existing and new installations of the same core Summit back-office applications, but will provide a new graphical user interface (GUI), customizable for different user profiles, and a lightweight distribution model for the system.

Danske Bank plans to adopt
