Danske Web Portal Hit by Network Outage

COPENHAGEN--Danske Bank officials last week confirmed that the bank's Markets Online service, a Web-based trading portal for corporate and buy-side clients, was temporarily shut down by a network outage on Wed., Oct. 1.
The portal allows customers to electronically trade foreign exchange (FX) spot, forwards and swaps, and fixed-income instruments with the bank. The portal also allows customers to directly trade equities on the Copenhagen and Stockholm stock exchanges. The portal shows prices on
