Nymex Access Crashes
The New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) was forced to suspend trading on its off-hours electronic trading platform, Nymex Access, last Thursday, Feb. 17, after the platform suffered undisclosed internal technical difficulties, officials say. No trading took place on the system between 4:40 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. (EST), last Thursday. Access enables trading in most of Nymex’s contracts at set times.
