Portware Goes Live at Wave Securities

CHICAGO--Wave Securities, the electronic agency broker subsidiary of Archipelago Holdings, switched on its first live institutional customer on the Portware trade management system last week, officials tell TTW.
Portware is a Java-based user interface that allows list, basket, and program traders to build strategies and execute them across a number of order-routing systems and execution venues, says Eric Goldberg, CEO of New York-based Portware. Its open API allows users to attach order
