Icap Rolls Out IP-Based Network As It Rebuilds New York Operation

NEW YORK--Interdealer broker Icap is rebuilding its New York operation from the foundation up, a process that includes rolling out an IP-based data delivery system in addition to its existing fixed line infrastructure.
The objective is to be less geographically dependent on any one area, and to distribute data more locally, says Mike Sussileaux, director of Icap Information Services, Americas.
"We would like to offer an alternative to the fixed line infrastructure that we have had in the past,"
