NEW YORK--Consulting firm Random Walk has built a real-time display application written in pure Java. While the company has no immediate plans to market its display interface as a product, it has implemented components of the system--Market Watch--at a number of client sites in New York.
Market Watch may be the first market data distribution platform written entirely in Java. As such, the system will allow customers to receive data and redistribute it to the end user on any desktop platform
