Six Regional Brokers Fund Development Of New Back- To Front-Office System

Six regional brokerage firms have joined forces to fund Comprehensive Securities Systems (CSS), a new venture headed by Bill Simpson, the founder and former president of Quotron's Securities Industry Software Corp. (SIS) back-office processing unit. The new company, formed two weeks ago, is designing a modular back- to front-office system that will feature market data, analytics and securities processing, based on client/server architecture.
