Fidelity, Mondas Integrate

Clients of Mondas' Radica CAPS corporate actions processing software will be able to implement the system more quickly and with lower risk when using corporate actions data from Fidelity ActionsXchange, as a result of a recent agreement between the two parties. The two are creating an interface to allow mutual clients to take cleansed corporate actions feeds from Fidelity AX directly into Radica CAPS to automate data capture and processing.

S&P, Soliton Partner

Standard & Poor's and data management software vendor Soliton last week announced an agreement to allow clients to automate the capture, integration and management of S&P's securities and reference data through Soliton's TimeSquare platform. Officials say clients will be able to reduce the cost and effort of managing the data and achieve consistency across internal data.

FactSet to Carry Barra Models

Barra's models and analytics will be distributed via FactSet's Directions platform in a series of phases through 2006, under an agreement between the two vendors. The move will allow users to combine Barra's data with FactSet's portfolio analysis capabilities.

Markit Launches ABS Pricing Service

UK-based credit data provider Markit has launched an independent European asset-backed security pricing service that allows users to track ABS values using independent, consensus pricing. The service provides same-day bid/offer price and the spread and average life assumptions on more than 3,500 European ABSes. It receives daily mark-to-market prices from dealers, which Markit cleans and validates prior to dissemination.
