Shut Out By CEC, NYMEX Sets Own Data Fees; Vendors To Send Bigger Bills Jan. 1

Following the decision by the four remaining Commodity Exchange Center (CEC) exchanges to exclude New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) from sharing in revenue from CEC data fees, NYMEX has set the fees it will charge for its own data, effective Jan. 1. The move will raise fees for subscribers receiving all New York commodity exchanges' data by as much as 58 percent.
NYMEX will levy a $55 per month fee for the first terminal in each location receiving its data, and $10 for each subsequent data
