There is no escape for user firms or data vendors from the rising tide of market data if they are to use data as a differentiating factor to win business in a constricting market, according to Interactive Data president and chief executive Stuart Clark.
Clark delivered the second keynote speech at the IMD Europe conference last week.
In fact, some of the main challenges around data are spurring development of new solutions and methodologies in a bid to win this business, he said.
