Gissing to Power Wombat Excel Add-in
Under the deal, Gissing has integrated its RealtimeXL software with Wombat's low-latency data platform to create the Wombat RealtimeXL plug-in, which allows clients to draw low-latency data directly from Wombat's architecture into Excel spreadsheets to power any spreadsheet-based trading or risk models that require real-time data.
Wombat is also incorporating conflation technologies to ensure that spreadsheets are not overwhelmed by volumes of low-latency data. The Wombat Traffic Control product
