Sometimes, a new trading floor calls for brand new hardware. London's Lloyds TSB (LTSB) took this maxim to heart when it moved its traders to a new building with a trading floor powered by custom-built Hewlett-Packard blades. In the process of moving its 255 traders, the bank turned down blade technology from an established blade solution provider.
LTSB completed a move this month to 10 Gresham Street in the heart of The City in London where 1,100 employees will eventually work. The new trading
