HSBC Offers Direct Market Access in Brazil

This is the first time the bank has offered DMA in Latin America, according to Kevin Bourne, managing director and global head of eEquities at HSBC. The new hub, which went live last week, gives local and international traders access to Brazilian securities, futures and commodities exchange BM&FBovespa.

The new DMA can be accessed via a single FIX connection. For example, someone from the Singapore government can trade in São Paulo through a connection to the HSBC trading system in Hong Kong
