Bats ECN Lands in London
"We fully expect it to go live before year-end, but we hope to have it live by the end of the quarter," says Joe Ratterman, chairman, president and CEO of Bats Trading. "It probably won't happen in the second quarter," he adds.
To start its expansion into Europe, Bats Trading set up its London-based firm, Bats Trading LLC, a few weeks ago to administer the MTF and expects to file the appropriate papers with the U.K.'s Financial Services Authority in the next few weeks.
