CA CHEUVREUX ENHANCES ALGO SUITE
Global agency broker Crédit Agricole (CA) Cheuvreux has expanded access to its algorithmic suite of strategies by offering them through trading platform provider InfoReach's offering. Users can access CA Cheuvreux's 14 strategies and execute on 20 markets across Europe, say officials.
BNY CONVERGEX LINKS TO CREDIT SUISSE
Global agency broker BNY ConvergEx Group has linked its VortEx dark liquidity pool with Credit Suisse's Advanced Execution Services (AES) CrossFinder, say officials. The interface of these two alternative trading systems (ATSes) will help clients of both firms better address the challenge of finding liquidity in fragmented equity markets, according to officials.
FIDESSA EXPANDS INTO NEXT-GEN ALGOS
Order management system (OMS) and market connectivity provider Fidessa has launched BlueBox Execution Strategies, a suite of algorithms designed to provide traders with short-term trading tactics that combine access to dark pools along with displayed markets, say officials. Available immediately through the Fidessa trading platform in the U.S., BlueBox Execution Strategies can access and smart route to displayed or dark pools of liquidity, simultaneously or in sequence to assist traders in optimally working orders with varying trading objectives, add officials.
CNQ, ITS DEBUT ORDER ROUTING
Canadian Trading and Quotation System, parent company of Canadian alternative trading system (ATS) Pure Trading, and ITS Online, application provider to the brokerage and equity trading industry, have launched the Pure Compass order router. The new offering provides clients the opportunity to connect to Canadian marketplaces with a high-capacity and low-latency single point of access that meets regulatory and best-execution obligations, say officials.
NYSE MATCHPOINT JOINS FIXLINK
NYSE MatchPoint, a facility of NYSE Euronext, has connected to the FIXLink global network from Tradeware Global, a broker-neutral electronic global equity market access provider, say officials. Tradeware's FIXLink network serves as a "liquidity grid" for global order flow, providing neutral electronic access to markets worldwide, add officials.
SYBASE DEBUTS RAP
Database vendor Sybase has launched the RAP Trading Edition, a market analytics platform, say officials. The new release enables capital markets firms to capture and consolidate high volumes of market data feeds by storing multiple years of trade and other data in real time-compressing stored data by up to 70 percent and capable of storing terabytes of data-while delivering analytics performance that is 10 to 100 times faster than traditional data management platforms, according to officials.
