Velocity Trade Readies API Connectivity

Once the unnamed regional U.K. firm has the API online, Velocity Trade will be able to stream prices via FIX messages to its client and receive FIX trade messages in return to its back-end systems for settlement and risk management functions, says Rodolfo Ledesma, head of trading with Velocity Trade. "Everything will be captured by the Sierra system," he adds.

The dealer is also connecting to a number of equity trading platforms for equity traders who are generating algorithms that trade equities
