According to a source within Nasdaq OMX, the original collaborative announcement was made prior to the finalization of the delivery contract at the client's bequest. The vendor signed a cooperation agreement with the exchange to take on a technologies advisory role earlier in the year and OMX had fulfilled the advisory obligations, the source adds.
