SOA Makes Strides Down Under
The analyst firm surveyed 96 IT managers and CIOs in ANZ, 24 percent of whom were from the finance sector. Springboard officials estimate that regional investment in SOA will reach $406.3 million in 2008, a 35 percent increase from the $300.1 million spent in 2007, with financial firms accounting for 50 percent to 60 percent of the spending. The spending estimate for ANZ accounts for over 36 percent of the estimated spending across Asia this year, say officials.
