Equiduct Looks to Fidessa, SunGard, GL

BRUSSELS—Equiduct, a new Mifid-compliant exchange that launches next spring, is hoping to sign deals with Fidessa, SunGard and GL Trade to provide multiple exchange connectivity to securities firms, says Bob Fuller, Equiduct's CEO.

Considered by many as "Mr. Mifid," Fuller is overseeing the launch of Equiduct, which relies heavily upon the European Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (Easdaq) effort of the late 1990s (Trading Technology Week, June 28, 1999).
