DUBAI TO USE OMX

OMX, a Nordic exchange operator and technology provider, will provide a new trading system to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) in the United Arab Emirates. OMX will license, customize, implement and support DFM's transaction system. DFM's current system can handle 20,000 trades per day. This new IT investment is expected to meet growth forecasts for the DFM's business. OMX is also slated to benefit from the deal by expanding on its operations in the Middle East. OMX officials
