Pipeline Trading Preps Algo Switching Engine
The engine, dubbed Algorithm Switching Engine, is a predicting tool that chooses from a suite of available trading algorithms the execution route with the lowest market impact, says Fred Federspiel, president of Pipeline.
At its release, the switching engine will select algorithms from four already-confirmed providers, which Federspiel declines to name, but which include large brokers and smaller niche algorithm developers. Pipeline Trading is also in negotiations with two additional firms that
