Former Wachovia technologist Tony Bishop, who spoke previously (see page s8), touched on the idea of thinking of the data center as a portfolio. We don't do that very well in this industry. We think of it as a thing and that has a uniformity associated with it. But if we could open our minds to a new thought, and just think of it as a portfolio of computing, that is very different.
