CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.-based Patten & Patten Inc., an investment advisor with $600 million in assets under management, has deployed two new automated trading mechanisms--one linking it to Smith Barney Inc. and the other to Robinson Humphrey Co. Patten & Patten has integrated the two systems, along with other applications, into its portfolio management system--Advent Software Inc.'s Axys.
