Montgomery Securities has joined PaineWebber and Kidder Peabody (IMT, Dec. 10, 1993) in signing a letter of intent to evaluate Multex Systems Inc.'s so-called Publisher system--a graphical full-text research distribution network. The letter means Montgomery will consider using the system once it emerges from development. Multex claims three other brokerages have signed similar letters, but won't name them. Montgomery recently sold Tristar Market Data--its spin-off Apple Computer Macintosh-based
