FpML Technologist Leaves JP Morgan Chase for Swapswire

NEW YORK—FpML pioneer Guy Gurden has left JP Morgan Chase to join Swapswire, the consortium-backed electronic derivatives trading company. Gurden, a vice president at JP Morgan Chase, is now head of product development.

He has also resigned as chair of the interest-rate derivatives working group at FPML.org, the standards initiative he helped to found. Steven Lord of UBS Warburg will replace him as chair.
