Tibco Touts Profits for Q2, Pushes BPM Future

PALO ALTO, Calif.—Application integration vendor Tibco Software announced last week that it had a profitable first half for its fiscal 2004.
"This is the fourth year of sequential and year-over-year growth," says Vivek Ranadivé, chairman, CEO and founder of Tibco, during an earnings call last week. Ranadivé says he expects to see a 50 percent year-over-year growth for the third quarter.
Broken down, the company's licensing revenue grew a dramatic 47 percent over the same period of the previous
