SunGard Brass, AFA to Link Offerings

JERSEY CITY, N.J.—SunGard Brass and Advanced Financial Applications (AFA) officials have agreed to work together to provide a solution that combines direct market access (DMA) capabilities with those of an order management system (OMS).
The agreement has yielded a FIX link between SunGard’s Brass Broker Direct U2 DMA functions and AFA’s Impact Pro "integrated order processing system," say officials from both vendors. The new integration is primarily aimed at sell-side firms that want to
