Tibco Files Suit Against Sonic

BEDFORD, Mass.--Tibco Software has sought a temporary restraining order in California Superior Court against Sonic Software, asking that it remove from its Web site a benchmark report that unfavorably compares Tibco’s Enterprise for JMS product to Sonic’s wares.
Sonic officials say it will vigorously defend itself. The comparison between SonicMQ and Tibco Enterprise for JMS was undertaken in June at the behest of several financial firms for whose business Sonic and Tibco were competing, says Tim
