Neon's Second Quarter Results Rosy, Business 'Booming'

EARNINGS REPORT

New Era of Networks (Neon) posted healthy results for second quarter, with revenues up 95 percent over the same period last year to $51 million, and the company says that business is booming.

Even though on a net basis the company showed losses of $6.3 million, or 18 cents per share--compared to a loss of $8.8 million for the second quarter of 1999--analysts are upbeat about the company's future.
