FOA Hires Stromberg in Senior Regulatory Role

Stromberg's activities will center on the management of the FOA's commodities-related working groups.

The industry lobby group hired Stromberg from the UK Financial Services Authority, where she was a senior associate in the regulator's Derivatives Market Infrastructure and Policy unit. Stromberg also acted as the lead supervisor for the London Metal Exchange, which was recently acquired by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing.

Before the FSA, Stromberg held positions in risk, client clearing and customer management at Morgan Stanley, ABN Amro and Deutsche Bank. She will lead the group's commodities-focused activities.
