Buy Side Readiness for Mifid II Measured by Inches, Not Miles

Surveys of asset managers find disparate levels of readiness for new regulations among the buy side.

There have been a sizeable number of studies and surveys conducted into the effects and levels of readiness for the revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, or Mifid II, set to arrive on January 3, 2018.

However, these findings can often be in direct contradiction with each other, creating a sense that no-one really knows just how ready asset managers are for the new regime.
