BNG Implements BearingPoint for Regulatory Tracking and Reporting

The Dutch sell-side institution looks to combine regulatory updates with trade and transaction reporting assistance.

Amsterdam-based BNG is one of the largest banks in the Netherlands.

Bank Nederlandse Gemeenten (BNG) has turned to regtech firm BearingPoint, selecting the vendor’s flagship product Abacus to help keep a record of the regulatory changes under way in Europe. These primarily stem from four pieces of legislation: The revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive and its accompanying regulation (Mifid II/Mifir), Money Markets Statistical Reporting and the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation.

Abacus is BearingPoint’s solution for all these reporting
