Raskin was previously managing director of Jordan & Jordan’s management consulting practice. He will now focus on expanding the company’s Market Data Reporting product – a managed service for automating exchange and vendor data reporting requirements – and other market data consultancy services.

“This is an exciting time for Barry to be taking over the market data area as the growth in market data revenue for exchanges and vendors is expanding due to changes in data policies, technology and distribution,” says the company’s president and chief executive, Tom Jordan.

Prior to joining Jordan & Jordan, Raskin was chief executive officer for North America at GBST, an Australian provider of technology for brokers, custodians, investment banks, and fund managers. Prior to that, he was an executive at SIX Financial Information USA and predecessor company Telekurs for a total of 28 years, most recently in the role of president and managing director.

Raskin will continue to report directly to Tom Jordan.
