NatWest Markets is rolling out a digital trading assistant called Scout that enables traders to have one-to-one interactions with broker-dealers.

The client-facing chatbot was developed with the help of Adaptive, a provider of software development services for trading technologies.

Since the electronification of trading and the implementation of regulations such as the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, many trading firms have moved away from personalized dealer voice communications.
