“Data is the fuel for financial markets. As they increase in complexity, we are constantly working to upgrade and improve our corporate actions data accordingly. Our long-standing experience in the financial data space combined with our commitment to innovation and providing our clients with industry-leading solutions means that we help them embrace the future now, allowing them to focus on planning their next moves while taking advantage of the opportunities available in the present. WHY THEY WON
Voters in the last three years of Waters Rankings are likely most drawn to breadth and depth of tools, services, and datasets that SIX provides, which includes everything from tax help to ESG insights to bread-and-butter corporate actions’ needs. It’s why the company will be a strong contender here this time next year.
WHAT’S NEW
SIX has launched a corporate action history offering aimed at data scientists, where users can apply research and analytics to gain business insights, evaluate current strategies and make predictive analysis on accurate, consistent and complete historical data series of up to 20 years.
It also rolled out a specific ESG data offering serving various needs: regulatory datasets, ESG indices, and ESG performance data, including scoring features.
The company now covers over 70 regulations globally with datasets or specific solutions.
SIX has also invested in new integration tools and AI-based monitoring systems to guarantee the completeness, precision and timeliness of corporate actions data, whatever the complexity.
WHAT’S TO COME
SIX has curated a solution for the UK wealth management sector. The bespoke file combines a security master, key corporate actions, pricing, regulations and tax data from a single source. This package is a first step toward new customized and industry-tailored offerings.
It is also looking to add more tax regimes to its SIX Tax Score, a new tool that allows wealth management and investment professionals to integrate a new tax-performance dimension in their decision-making process.
The company is also looking to expand the number of ESG datasets it offers.
