WHY THEY WON

Voters were likely drawn to ION’s scale and the platform’s improved latency, as well as its array of offerings in the worlds of fixed income and foreign exchange (FX).

WHAT’S NEW

The business expanded geographically into Singapore’s Equinix SG1 datacenter.

ION’s product helped several global banks go-live in the Singapore datacenter, allowing them to consume and provide liquidity to the local foreign exchange (FX) market

Whisperer helped global FX firms establish a Singapore footprint and connect to local markets.   

WHAT’S TO COME 

Over the next 12 months, MarketFactory’s Whisperer will support the sell-side LP’s algo offerings, providing clients full access to LP’s API functionality to help clients’ trading strategies and execution requirements. 

Strategies will also be deployed to grow and expand the business, including further development of in-house teams.
