HKEx appoints new chief executive
Former veteran JP Morgan Chase banker Alejandro Nicolas Aguzin begins his three-year term as the chief executive of HKEx on May 24. Aguzin is also now an ex-officio member of the HKEX board.
Aguzin’s compensation package at HKEx includes a basic salary of HK$10 million per annum.
Aguzin comes to HKEx from JP Morgan Chase, where he held a number of roles in Latin America and Asia Pacific over a three-decade career at the bank. Most recently, he was the CEO of
