EDM Council Reports Data Quality Challenges Still Loom Large

EDM survey finds firms doing well on organization, but have far to go in reaching data management quality benchmarks.

The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Council’s 2017 Data Management Benchmarking Survey Report, which asks more than 150 financial institutions 22 questions designed to gauge how firms are performing in six areas deemed critical to establishing quality data: data management program, stakeholder commitment, governance implementation, content infrastructure, data quality control, and ecosystem.
