ISS will combine South Pole's climate data and analytics business with its existing responsible investment division.
South Pole’s climate data division provides data and analytics that enable investors, asset owners, fund managers and banks to measure the impact of climate change on their portfolios. As a result of the acquisition, Dr Maximilian Horster, director of financial industry business at South Pole Group, will join ISS as a managing director.
